Support the EXTREME! SportsPlex Completion Project!

It’s an EXTREME! finale to the Hasken Construction Extreme Makeover: Home Edition effort! Only a few projects remain to finalize the SportsPlex* tournament-quality athletic complex on Walnut Road. With volunteer help, we’ll take lessons learned from the home build and finish off the SportsPlex in EXTREME! style too, in just two weekends: 24 and 31 October.

We also need funding to purchase items that may not be donated. Permanent recognition is provided for cash contributions as low as $100, and new recognition opportunities are available for in-kind contributions. For information, contact Julie Hilliger of Malcolm Eaton Enterprises at (815) 235-7181 ext. 102 or by . The SportsPlex is designated as a 501(c)(3) charity so all contributions are tax deductible.

Yes! I want to be a part of it!

To work onsite, sign up here by 5 p.m. on Thursday 29 October. If you worked on the home build, wear your blue shirt out to the SportsPlex! All volunteers working onsite will receive a Hasken Construction EXTREME! SportsPlex t-shirt too.

As a secondary building initiative for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project, the SportsPlex is a wonderful facility for all youth, including developmentally disabled youngsters. And as a tournament destination, it’s also an important economic development project for northwest Illinois.

Thanks for joining this EXTREME! effort!

*The SportsPlex is a partnership of Malcolm Eaton Enterprises, the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and the Freeport Park District. The Haskens designated the SportsPlex as a secondary building initiative for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project that was just completed.
