Financing the Project...

There are several options for paying for a building project. Construction loans cover the costs during the actual building process.
When the building is completed, a mortgage can be initiated. Banks and mortgage loan companies offer competitive rates so it pays to shop around!!
Some homeowners elect to pay for the project from their personal funds.

Hasken Construction LLC recommends that all building projects use a title company to oversee all the payments from early construction through the closing.
During construction, the builder will submit written requests for payment of amount due for completed portions of the work, and if the contract so provides, for materials delivered and suitably stored pending their incorporation into the work.

These "payout requests" are submitted at intervals specified in the contract between the homeowner and the builder. A title company employee will inspect the work done to date, and collect lien waivers from the builder, subcontractors and materials vendors listed on the payout request before payment is issued to the contractor.

Hasken Construction LLC has developed strong relationships with several banks and title companies in Northwest Illinois to help expedite the financing of your building project.
