Soil Testing, Septic System & Wells...

Building lots that do not have access to a city sewer system will require a personal septic system.

A qualified soil scientist or qualified septic installer can obtain soil samples or run a "perc" test to determine soil condition and decide which type of septic system best serves the lot.
The suggested septic system then must be approved by the state health department before a building permit can be issued.
Hasken Construction LLC can make all the necessary contacts to have the soil tested, and the septic system designed, approved and installed.

National Assoc of Home Builders
Lots that do not have access to a city water system will require a personal well.

This should be installed by a qualified well drilling subcontractor. The well must be placed on the lot at an adequate distance from the septic system to prevent contamination of the water supply. The water is piped from the well into the home and out through your faucets.

The location of the septic system and well must be clearly marked on the plot plan and approved by the health department before a building permit can be issued.

Hasken Construction LLC can develop the plot plan, obtain the permits, and coordinate the well drilling subcontractor for your lot development.
